I'm interesting in doing GUI things on linux without HTML - what are the options? especially if i I find stuff like GTK/QT difficult

@rain I've used wxPython before. Or there's Python's built in one, TCLTK I think?

Follow

@alcinnz @rain I recently started using the official Qt Python bindings. They're really good, and map almost perfectly onto their C++ API:

I highly recommend PyQT5.

@djsumdog But if the official Qt Python bindings (Qt for Python are really good (they are), why did you go with PyQt?
A rather conflicting statement…

@xrevan86 wait hold up ... PySide is the official bindings and PyQT is 3rd party?! ... huh ... well crap, I've been doing it wrong 😅
