The year is 2025

There are five browser cores:
- webkit
- chromium
- gecko
- servo
- youtube-dl, which ended up implementing a full-fledged browser in python to keep successfully downloading videos

I've been having enough reliability issues with HAProxy that I'm seriously considering moving to traefik. I really should have implemented some of my contain orchestration config with labels; that would help a lot.

It got up to 9C today. I took a long walk, rode some trains .. tried to call some friends (no one picked up; one at least text back she was sorry she missed my call ... no one talks on the phone any more), took the train back home. Glad I got 4~5 hours in the sun.

Hey @eevee .. saw your post hit Hackernews! That's an awesome blog post. I remember image maps, and tables tables everywhere and capital <HTML><TAGS> ... this is a really in-depth post on html/css history.

It doesn't cover my really old 90s/high school websites though. I might do a second one later this year about my Space Quest 5 and Dominic Moceanu fan sites 😅😂

Am I more horse than a man, or am I more man than a horse?

@djsumdog As the teletype was replaced by other technologies, they were donated to schools for the Deaf and Deaf clubs. This allowed real-time text communication at a distance among Deaf people, something never before possible. Conversely, as analog television and radio are replaced with digital, the technologies aren't being turned over to those who might make good use of them as-is. So... IPv4 could go any way you can imagine and there's no predicting it.

I want to go searching for god ... does anyone want to go searching for god with me? ... I'll bake you brownies 🐴

When IPv4 finally dies out, will billions of Internet of Trash devices be eternally cut off from the vast void of global networks? ... What if IPv4 survives as long as humanity?
